Erick Lindgren wins his own tournament

In FTOPs Erick Lindgren competed in his own tournament, total of 5600 entrants paying $300 each with a $1m guaranteed prize pool. The host was Erick Lindgren and after hours and hours of game he finished in first position. This is a crazy performance by him really. Other team Full Tilt Poker members like Phil Ivey and Chris Ferguson also competed in the same tournament but they finished pretty early.

Today I did my first poker room “review” or whatever you call it. I’ve played on several different poker rooms in the past including full tilt poker, party poker, titan poker, paradise poker, celeb poker, poker stars, doyles room, cake poker, poker room, poker.com, mansion poker, pacific poker, ultimate bet and probably some more (damn that’s really a huge list!). Anyways I’m going to start and do some summary on all the poker sites that I’ve played at, maybe this will help some people who doesn’t know what room to choose. Some of the rooms I only played on like 3-4 years back and I will write that in my “reviews” also, because some of my personal experience will probably be abit out of date.So just turn up some music, releax, wait for me to finish some reviews (they will all end up in the “pages” section) by me on the poker rooms!

First real post: Tournament on Party Poker

Today I played two really frustrating tournaments on Party Poker, one of them a 500 something players $33 and the other a 220 something players $109. I finished just outside of the money on both, this is stuff that’s really driving me crazy. Really what’s worse then finishing on the bubble on two tournaments the same day?

National Headsup Championship

I just watched the national heads-up championship final and I got to give all my respect to Paul Wasicka, I think he’s playing brilliant all the way to the finish. His game play is very solid at all times, he seems to be able to analyze the game just as good as some of the best like daniel negreanu, gus hansen and patrick antonious.

I was also very interested in the great play by Shannon Elizabeth, she really beat the hell out of many of the great opponents even if she’s just an amateur. Being a great film / movies actress and then becoming a great poker player at that age is just stunning, she won’t really have a hard time in her life with that skill she possesses. My respect goes out to her as well. Apparently she is sponsored by Full Tilt Poker, as I could see by her very very pink full tilt poker t-shirt.

Peer Pressure

Hello and welcome to my new blog, as I titled this post, I’ve been pressured by my friends to start this blog. Almost everyone around me keeps their own private Wordpress blog and they’ve been nagging me for quite some time now to get my own. Btw my friend Joshy helped me create and customize this blog, big thanks to him (I GUESS!) for helping me.

My biggest hobby is poker, I regularly play poker games with my friends and I read quite a few different poker blogs. So it’s pretty straight forward what my blog will be all about, right? =)

Anyways, I mostly play on Full Tilt Poker and Party Poker. My game play is pretty solid, I mostly just grind out in cash games and sometimes a play a tournament or sit & go. This blog will be my journal of how I play, how the game changes, what the poker rooms are up to and probably some more.
